Carp Passion are proud to
give you the facility to create your own
picture and photograph gallery. Your gallery
of pictures can then be viewed by anyone
visiting our site and will be listed in
our directory of members galleries. It costs
nothing and you can come back at any time
and add, change or remove the content of
your gallery. You can upload as many photographs
and pictures as you wish to create a complete
gallery of photographs, show the world your
carp pictures.
Below are a few Questions
and Answers on how easy it is to create
and run you site. Once you are ready to
create your Home page click on the Link
below. Then just build it up as and when
you want.
Please note. In order to
maintain the layout of the pages and keep
browsing speeds acceptable we have placed
a limit of the size of photographs that
can be uploaded to the server.
These are-
Maximum width 400 pixels
Maximum height 500 pixels
Maximum file size 30k
If you do not have the software to resize
and compress photographs, then we will be
happy to do this for you at no cost. Just
attach the photographs to an Email and send
to
GalleryPhotos@carp-passion.com
We will return the
photographs to you by Email resized and
compressed ready to upload to your gallery.

Does it cost anything.
No, this service is entirely
free and your pages are your own.
How easy is it to
develop my gallery.
Very easy, to upload a
picture to your gallery you simply browse
to it on your hard drive and click the upload
button. If you wish to enter a caption under
the picture then simply type this into the
box provided.
How large can I develop
my gallery.
There is no limit to how
large you develop your gallery. Pictures
are displayed in groups of one optional
picture, one optional text to the side of
the picture and an optional caption under
the picture giving you some freedom on how
your gallery looks. These groups are displayed
5 to a page with more pages being created
automatically when there are more than 5
picture groups.
What pictures can
I put on the site.
Whatever you like as long
as it's legal and suitable for children
to view. All we ask is that the contents
of your site should be of interest to other
anglers and not be commercial in nature.
In order to ensure that no offensive material
is uploaded, everything added to the galleries
is verified by ourselves before being displayed
to the general public. This means there
will be a slight delay before anything added
appears on the site, a small price to pay
to assure parents that it is safe for children
to use the site.
How does it work.
What you place on your
gallery is held in a database, apart from
pictures which are held in a separate folder.
When visitors view your site in actual fact
the pages are built "on the fly"
from the information that you supply.
How do I get started.
Easy, click on the "Create
My Gallery" link at the top of this
page and you are on your way. You can add
new pictures and make changes at any time
by simply clicking the "Maintain Pages"
link in the galleries area of this site.
