A weekend at Whelford where I didn't even catch a tench. I can normally rely on a tench, but not this weekend. That didn't stop everyone else catching though, and this is just some of what happened.

This is the venue of the great adventure. Whelford in Gloucestershire, home of many a large carp, allegadly.
It was a glorious weekend, hot and sunny, the water was lovely and still, and in my swim, that's the way it stayed. |

Before we even arrived Jonathan had already had some action during the previous week.
Ok, for some, taking a whole week off to go fishing.

Then Phil arrived for the weekend. Little did he know when he started just how lucky he was going to get before the end of the weekend. I won't go on about each fish he caught, just judge for yourself. |
